Denis Juelicher has been teaching yoga for almost 20 years. She is the founder of The Yoga Shala in Port Macquarie. Denis has been using Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama (breath work) to manage stress in her life and help her students achieve more balanced life.
Kalray is a qualified remedial massage therapist, Physiotherapy student and owner of Vibrance Mind and Body. He practices vipassana meditation for finding balance and clarity mind. Sound healing is one of Kal's passions, which he incorporates into meditation practices and his work as a massage therapist using Tibetan Bowls.
In this day retreat we will explore what makes us stressed and how stress manifests in our lives. Throughout the day participants will be introduced to a range of strategies that can help us lead less stressful lives, including Yoga, breathing and Meditation, food, play and deep relaxation.
The physical yoga practice will be suitable for students of all levels. This will be a gentle practice with a focus on moving with the breath, connecting to our bodies, and learning to be respectful of our individual limitations and needs. The morning session will finish with a deep, guided relaxation.
During a beautiful, wholefoods vegetarian lunch, you have the opportunity to connect to fellow yogis, sharing stories and experiences.
We will enjoy the tranquil surrounds of the farm, rest, play, and connect consciously to our natural environment in the afternoon. Then Kalray will guide you into deep relaxation with the sound vibrations of the Double Heart Tibetan Bowls set and the Gong and will share about the effects of sound vibrations on our nervous system and our general health.
