Join us for a one-day yoga getaway at the Eggert's Organic Farm/F.U.N. Yoga in Wauchope on Sunday, 3 April.
The morning session will represent the Yang part of this retreat - a dynamic led Ashtanga Yoga practice. Ashtanga Yoga is essentially a breathing practice and we will start this session with breathing exercises that will draw our awareness inward. The following practice will combine breath & movement into a flowing & challenging sequence.
Yin Yoga is meditative in nature and aims at finding stillness and cultivating awareness of one’s inner silence. This is a cooling practice (so dress accordingly) and is a complement to more active forms of yoga and exercise (Yang). Seared poses are typically held for 2 – 5 minutes and apply moderate stress to the connective tissues, tendons, fascia and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
Martine Ford, is a certified Yoga Teacher and owner of Spirit Yoga, Port Macquarie. Martine is enjoying being able to share the many physical & spiritual benefits yoga offers with her varied students, and encourages them all to live from a place of peace, strength and clarity.
A vegetarian lunch buffet is included. The dishes served will be nourishing whole foods. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking.
