These weekly casual classes, specifiacally for teenage girls, include yoga postures, mindfulness techniques, breath awareness, and fun teamwork. Teenagres gain relaxation skills, build confidence, as well as social and emotional health and wellbeing.
Adolescents is a time of rapid growth and change physically, socially & emotionally. Body image, belonging and study pressures can also impact greatly on girls.
Course facilitator Stacy Hall from Serenity Space Yoga firmly believes learning Yoga as a teenager can be transformative. She is a qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher with 7 years experience teaching Yoga in schools.
Stacy is passionate about the benefits of yoga. With a calm, yet playful personality, Stacy facilitates an engaging class where everyone feels supported.
Drop in classes are held on Fridays after high school at 4.30pm.
